Another member of the 2018 WJC Team Canada signed a new contract to pursue his profesionnal hockey career.

Following the arrests of Carter Hart, Michael McLeod, Alex Formenton, Dillon Dube and Cal Foote a few months ago regarding the 2018 Team Canada Junior scandal, the other members of the organization can finally turn the page on what unfortunately tarnished their image.
Maxime Comtois, who played for Team Canada in 2018, has officially begun the next chapter of his career.
In breaking news, it was reported that the player has signed a contract in the KHL, with the Dynamo Moscow.
"Maxime Comtois has signed in the KHL with Dynamo Moscow."
In his career, Comtois, played 211 NHL games for the Crolina Hurricanes and Anaheim Ducks. In that time, he scored 87 points, including 37 goals.
He will join fellow Quebec-native and former NHLer Cédric Paquette in Moscow, as well as other Canadians Eric O'Dell and Jordan Weal.
Comtois, at only 25 years old, could come back in the NHL if the opportunity presents itself in the coming seasons.
