Today a new comment from an Eastern Conference GM has linked Linus Ullmark to a trade sending him to the New Jersey Devils.

The Boston Bruins have been rolling along with a pair of elite-level goaltenders Linus Ullmark and Jeremy Swayman. It was speculated earlier this season that the Bruins were hoping to trade Linus Ullmark but things fell through.
This afternoon trade rumors involving Linus Ullmark have picked up again in a major way. This comes after the New Jersey Devils GM Tom Fitzgerald confirms he is open to moving his 10th overall pick in this year's draft.
If we feel it helps us now and in the foreseeable future, then, yes, I'm listening. I haven't gotten anything yet but the more I talk to teams, I say 'Listen, I'm open to moving No. 10, but it's going to have to be something (significant).'

Then Tom Fitzgerald goes on to say that the main position they are focusing on upgrading is goaltender. This is where the connection to former Vezina Trophy winner Linus Ullmark begins.
Does the No. 10 pick get you that type of player that you can add to the group? It's easy to say, ‘Go get so-and-so and then you build from there.' But there are some guys who have different contracts so how are those players going to reprice at. There's a lot to it, but, yes, the focus is on finding that goaltender
It remains to be seen if Linus Ullmark will be traded to a new team this summer. While he likely would be the best option on the market for goaltender needy teams the Boston Bruins could set too high of a price for him.
Heading into the 2024 offseason the NHL landscape is about to look incredibly different and it could begin with the Bruins and Linus Ullmark.
