Talk about bad luck! Near the end of the first period of tonight's game between the St. Louis Blues and San Jose Sharks, teammates Kyle Clifford and Oskar Sundqvist collided in front of goaltender Martin Jones. Clifford's knee hits the back of Sundqvist's hard. Sundqvist was turning at the time and crashed into the ice. He would stay down until a trainer came out and it took quite a bit of help for him to make it to the back.

Needless to say, Sundqvist will not return to the game. He could barely stand on his own. We'll likely get an update on the severity of the injury on Saturday. However, at first glance, this one does not look good at all. Clifford has to feel awful about this one, although he was not at fault in any way.
