The Boston Bruins have placed a total of five different players on the NHL's COVID-19 Protocol list. David Pastrnak, Jake DeBrusk, David Krejci, Craig Smith, and Sean Kuraly are the players that have been placed there.

The Bruins' games Saturday against the Buffalo Sabres and Tuesday against the New York Islanders have been postponed, and team facilities are closed until at least Wednesday. These two games will be the 36th and 37th games postponed due to the virus this season.

As of Thursday night, Sean Kuraly was the team's only player on the COVID list, but four more were added today, and Boston will have to pause its season for the time-being. The Bruins currently sit 4th in the East Division with 36 points (16-8-4 record), and losing these players is a huge loss for them, especially David Pastrnak.

Being placed in protocol means you've either tested positive for the virus or have come in close contact with someone who has.
