A few weeks ago, the Minnesota Wild hit rock bottom, 25th in the NHL, playoffs seemed out of reach and it was looking like legendary Marc Andre Fleury was going to hit the door on March 8th, but plans seem to have changed and he has finally spoken out regarding future.

Fleury doesn't intend to leave Minnesota

In an interview with Joe Smith, Fleury stated that he would like to stay in Minnesota and help them push for the playoffs after their amazing last stretch lately.
«If we were last in the conference, maybe it'd be a little bit different,» Fleury told The Athletic on Saturday night. «But this is my team. We've been battling together, right? I take pride in winning with this team. I want us to make the playoffs. That's my first priority. I think being in the hunt, it's fun, it's challenging. And I want to be here and see this team make the playoffs.»

The Wild are currently 6th in the Central division and are only two points off of a wildcard spot, trailing behind the Nashville Predators. In their last ten games the Wild hold a 7-2-1 record, and are currently on a two game winning streak.
Don't look back now folks, the Wild are surging for a late season push, and Flower staying in Minnesota will definitely help their case.
