Evander Kane may have let the Battle of Alberta get the best of him, as he delivered a vicious cross-check during the game that could lead to his suspension.
Kane Delivers Crosscheck to Kadri that Could Land Him a Suspension
The Battle of Alberta did not disappoint last night and featured several physical moments between the two heated rivals. The game saw a ton of line scrums and fights between plays, living up to its name as one of hockey's toughest rivalries.
During the game, though, the emotions may have ran too high for Evander Kane, who delivered a massive cross-check to Nazem Kadri away from the play. The cross-check is prompting some to think he could be suspended, especially given precedent in the past.
Kadri and Calgary Get the Last Laugh in Heated Rivalry
Nazem Kadri and the Calgary Flames were able to get the last laugh during last night's game, though, as the Flames pulled out a 6-3 win over the Oilers, and Kadri even potted a goal.
One thing is for sure, this game will be a must-watch on April 6th!
