Cole Sillinger was one of many NHL players who has dipped his toe into the celebrity dating pool, dating singer Tate McRae for some time. However, it seemed to be too much for him as he and McRae called it quits not long ago.
Several rumours circulated that Sillinger cheated on McRae during their relationship, which is the reason that the duo ended up splitting. Now, in a new post going viral on social media, Sillinger took to the comments to deny the allegations.
The post takes a jab at Sillinger for allegedly cheating on McRae, to which he has the following response.
The drama is something that isn't out of the ordinary for professional sports but doesn't happen every day, especially not in hockey. We probably will never know the real reason behind the split. However, it didn't stop the San Jose Sharks from taking a shot at Sillinger.
