According to Sports Business Journal reporter Mark Burns, the NHL and Adidas have announced a release date for all 31 NHL franchise's new reverse retro-style uniforms. The rumored uniforms would not replace the alternate jersey of each team, instead they would become their fourth jersey. The new uniforms would be worn on special occasions chosen by the team.

The release date is set for mid-November. NHL fans once again have something to look forward to before the season starts, as these jerseys will incorporate each team's past and present.

Although many people had their doubts when Adidas became the official producer of NHL uniforms back in 2017 when they replaced Reebok, this is another step to steal hockey fans' hearts.

The NHL season is set to begin on or around January 1, 2021, and we should be able to see the new uniforms in action sooner rather than later. There are tons of jerseys being circulated on Twitter, so go check out some of the awesome concepts out there.
