Taylor Hall has finally made his decision on his next team to play for in the NHL. The former Hart Memorial Trophy winner has agreed to a contract with the Buffalo Sabres for one year worth $8 million.

Hall began last season with the New Jersey Devils, before being traded to the Arizona Coyotes. He recorded 16 goals and 36 assists last season for 52 points in 65 games.

The star forward will be joining captain Jack Eichel in Buffalo, who will be hoping to make the playoffs for the first time since the 2010-11 season. Eichel definitely played a part in this signing as he was involved in a lot of trade rumors, up until the signing. Eichel is sick of losing and wants to win now, and it looks like the organization is taking the first step to try and accomplish that. A Hall and Eichel duo is sure to set the league on fire next season.

Hall has never played on a great NHL team, but he has been consistently productive over the past 10 years. His strongest skill is easily his skating, as he has become known as one of the fastest skaters in the league.

This signing looks more like a prove it deal for Hall, who will be trying to showcase his former MVP candidate self to the rest of the league in hopes of getting a larger contract next offseason.
