Multiple high-profile players may be on the move from Boston

On Thursday, TSN listed its Trade Bait board, and on it is Boston Bruins goaltender Tuukka Rask, along with forward Jake DeBrusk.

TSN insider Frank Seravalli mentions that the Bruins have called around to see what Rask's value is on the open market recently. This is extremely surprising, given that Tuukka Rask has been one of the league's elite goaltenders for several years now. This past season saw him finish as a Vezina Trophy finalist after posting a 2.12 goals against average along with a .929 save percentage.

“Vezina Trophy runner-up Tuukka Rask debuts on the board at No. 10. Many were wondering if there would be fallout from Rask's decision to leave the bubble for family reasons, a decision that was certainly supported by teammates,” Seravalli wrote. “But multiple sources indicate that Bruins GM Don Sweeney has initiated conversations with teams about Rask's market value over the last number of weeks.”

The 33-year-old superstar goaltender left the NHL bubble prior to his team's exit to tend to a personal family member. While it isn't known whether or not this is one of the possible reasons the Bruins are shopping him, it is hard to imagine it hasn't played a role in Sweeney calling around, as there isn't much other reasoning to trade him considering the Bruins are in a win now mode.

DeBrusk, on the other hand, is still trying to find his way in the NHL. The talented 23-year-old had a great 2018-19 season, registering 27 goals and 42 points in 68 games. However, this year he took a step back, posting 19 goals and 35 points in 65 games, along with just four goals and zero assists in 13 playoff games. There are several other big names on TSN's Trade Bait board, which can be found listed below. One thing for sure is that this off-season should be extremely exciting for NHL fans.
