Hockey Night in Canada is set to fire one of their most hated host to the pleasure of fans.
Ron MacLean To Be Fired
Hockey Night in Canada is a staple in so many Canadian homes. From the top notch production to the electrifying hockey, the show is certainly one of the gems of television.
However, with money becoming tighter and tighter, it seems that core members of the program may be gone.
Insider Howard Berger has reported that Hockey Night in Canada could see some major shake ups in favor of a greater cash flow. Sportsnet has been letting go of so many notable people of late.
The One Person Safe
In addition to the rumor that MacLean will be fired, Berger has added that there is only one person who is safe from being fired and that is Elliotte Friedman.
Friedman being safe makes a lot of sense. His work as the top insider in the game is hard to match. He singlehandedly breaks more stories than TSN's team of insiders.
Nonetheless, with only Friedman being safe, the future of Hockey Night in Canada is in jeopardy and may be very different starting next season.
