We just learned some sad news from the Florida Panthers.

Two Top Defensemen Injured Long-Term

Frank Seravalli reported on Twitter that both Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour
"Ice Breakers 🧊🏒 Exact timeline TBD, but #FlaPanthers are not expecting to have both Aaron Ekblad and Brandon Montour well into next season.

That complicates Cats' search for help on D. They're looking for a high profile d-man ready to bet on himself."

The Panthers will look for some backup at their blue line in the coming days and we should know what happens in that department sooner than later.
