Andrei Vasilevskiy has been a cornerstone piece in the Lightning's success over the last 3 years, and it's safe to say that without him, they wouldn't be here today. Unfortunately for Vasilevskiy, this series has gone rather poorly for him, and he may be all out of ways to save his team.

Vasilevskiy Has No Answers for Leafs Offense

Vasilevskiy met with the media recently to discuss how he'll approach the crucial upcoming game five against the Leafs, and the Lightning goaltender seemed less than happy with his play. He gave some pretty interesting quotes to the media, and many are wondering if Vasilevskiy's weaknesses are too much to win the Lightning this series.
Last year they were trying to play more of a skill game. I'm not sure done something different or we just aren't doing as good job as last year as a team in front, but I think last year they played more skill hockey.
This certainly isn't what you'd like to hear from your star goalie, and the lack of faith in his team is likely dejecting for the whole locker room. Vasilevskiy also gave some sarcastic remarks back to reporters, and suggested that maybe he should wear x-ray glasses to beat the Leafs.
Perhaps Vasy needs a mental reset to gather himself, but one thing's for sure. The Leafs are in his head right now, and it's working for them very well.
