The Minnesota Wild are a playoff team this year and have surprises some people by punching their ticket to the dance amid a somewhat injury riddled season.

However, it looks like they've just be handed another massive blow to their forward group Michael Russo of The Athletic reports:

Young centre Joel Eriksson Ek will miss some time with a lower body injury and is considered week-to-week. This is a huge blow to a team that has lacked centre depth all season.

If the Wild and their fans could take away one positive from the above update, it's that superstar Kirill Kaprizov will be In the lineup tomorrow. It will be his first game since March 8th.

It doesn't matter how you look at this though, the Eriksson Ek injury Is a tough pill to swallow with only 4 games left in the regular season.
