Shane Wright has had an interesting season this year to be sure, the 19 year old slid down 3 spots in this past years draft and things haven't really turned around since then.

The Seattle Kraken who drafted Wright 4th overall, most likely caused more harm than good during the first part of his season where he basically sat in the press box without getting any game action until the World Juniors.

Then he was sent down to the OHL after the holiday break where he was dealt in a massive deal to the Windsor Spitfires. After lighting the league on fire after the trade, he and his Spitfire teammates went down with a whimper in the first round of the playoffs.

At this point one has to wonder if Shane Wright is the problem. It seems like everywhere he plays, there's drama that follows, wether it's the NHL, AHL or junior.

The trade to Windsor was supposed to signify a deep playoff run, instead, it only ended their season much earlier than anyone expected.

Is Wright the problem or is it something else?

The good thing is, he's young enough where if he needs to change his attitude there's time to do so.
