Toronto Maple Leaf playoff tickets are here and they're insanely expensive
The Toronto Maple Leafs have known they were going to play the Tampa Bay Lightning on the first round for some time now, earlier this week, playoff tickets were released and if you didn't jump on them, you might be out of luck
Toronto is already a very expensive place to watch a hockey game depending on who you decide to go watch them play against, playoff tickets however are a different animal all together.
Leaf tickets are already an expense on the regular season, however going from a couple hundred dollars to a few thousand is a pretty big jump. It seems like in order to afford playoff tickets, you'll have to sell everything you own.
The thing with Toronto is the scalpers that drive the playoff tickets through the roof and make them unattainable. They buy tickets at market price and resell them for 10 times what they bought them for.
This isn't so much of a team issue as it is a greedy person issue, but the prices are crazy nonetheless.
