Alex Ovechkin gets ejected from the game, makes fun of officials while skating off the ice
The Washington Capitals and New York Rangers rivalry is alive and well. Alex Ovechkin was not happy with the officiating and while making his way off the ice, he let them know.
After exchanging pleasantries in the third period, Ovechkin would eventually be tossed from the game, mocking the referees as he makes his way off the ice.
Ovechkin is a player who loves to play physical, but it's very rare we see him get ejected from games and by his reaction, you can tell he isn't too happy with the call.
To be honest, I'm not surprised, the officiating across the league has been questionable at best for years now, of course players are going to finally let the refs have it. When you have superstars like Ovi mocking the games officiating, maybe it's time to take a look at why that is.
