It's not often we see teams suspend their own players for their actions on the ice, but that's exactly what's happening with Josef Ingman of Modo, which plays in Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan. During a game Friday, Ingman was called for embellishment twice after two obvious incidents which were caught on film. Here's the video.

Ingman has been reported to HockeyAllsvenskan's disciplinary committee and faces a hefty fine. However, in the meantime, Modo has decided to suspend their own player for one game.

"We want to emphasize from the club's side that we do not accept this kind of actions," said Modo's Sports Director Henrik Gradin.

"We feel that he is not acting in an okay way. He amplifies the situations he is involved in and we as a club believe that is not right. We absolutely do not stand behind that type of behaviour," Gradin continued.

All of Sweden's major hockey leagues have taken steps to come down hard on embellishing this season after complaints that it was happening far too often. There's really no arguing that Ingman was faking in both cases, and it looks like he'll pay the price. Ingman, 27, has spent his entire pro career in Sweden, except for a two season stint with the Fairbanks Ice Dogs of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).
