According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Tampa Bay Lightning have acquired forward Tanner Jeannot from the Nashville Predators.

In return, the Predators receive defenceman Cal Foote, a 2025 first-round pick, a 2024 second-round pick, a 2023 third-round pick, a 2023 fourth-round pick and 2023 fifth-round pick.

Jeannot, 25, was made a healthy scratch for trade-related reasons on Sunday ahead of Nashville's game against the Arizona Coyotes. In 56 games this season, he's recorded 14 points (five goals, nine assists), 85 penalty minutes, is a minus-one and is among the NHL leaders in hits with 213.

The Oxbow (Saskatchewan) native is in the final year of his contract which sees him earn $800,000. He's set to become a restricted free agent on July 1st with a qualifying offer of $892,500.
