Everyone makes mistakes, but it's always good to try to make things right. At a game in the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) on Thursday, Dec. 23, a young boy attempted to get a fist bump from a player while he was skating off the ice for intermission. What looks to be a member of the team's coaching staff noticed the child, and gives him a bump. However, the player that came next went right past, most likely by accident. The boy, who was going about all this in a very shy manner, steps back towards his father (presumably), and tries really hard to be cool about the whole thing, not realizing the camera is on him. Unfortunately, he broke down in tears. The team eventually caught wind of what had happened, and made sure the boy was given a puck, which he was very pleased about. The boy also got his fist bump when the teams came out again for the start of the next period. A great ending and a great Christmas for this little guy.
