At the end of Wednesday's contest between the Florida Panthers and the New Jersey Devils, Matthew Tkachuk sought out Devils captain Nico Hischier in a scrum. Tkachuk was responding to something that happened the last time these two played, which has left Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov out ever since.

After Devils forward Tomas Tatar scored an empty-netter, the Panthers' initiated a small scrum, which was escalated when Tkachuk sought out Hischier. From there, things got spicy.

Hischier saw his fair share of attention ever since the incident with Barkov, as one might expect. When you injure another team's best player and captain, you tend to garner that sort of focus. Still, New Jersey walked out with a 4-2 win.
These two sides meet again in March, right in the midst of the playoff race. Should make for some entertaining hockey.
