The Vancouver Canucks' season hasn't gone as they've wanted or as anyone had expected. After a tough start, the team has begun to explore the possibility of moving on from Bo Horvat and Brock Boeser.

Contract talks between Horvat's camp and the Canucks have stalled, with it being reported last week that the 27-year-old rejected a recent offer and the team was going to focus on the trade market leading up to March 3rd's deadline.
As for Boeser, a few weeks ago it was reported by Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman that his agent was granted permission by the Canucks to seek out a trade and to give the 25-year-old a fresh start elsewhere.
But beyond those two, who else could the Canucks part with and who could be available to other teams leading up to the trade deadline?
During the '32 Thoughts' segment on Hockey Night in Canada, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman revealed that the team does not want to go through a rebuild, but want to inject some new faces into their lineup.
"Number one, they're not interested in a rebuild or a tear down, but they are interested in changing their mix and breathing some new life into the team." Friedman said.

Friedman went on to add that the Canucks reportedly only have one untouchable on their roster, that being Swedish forward Elias Pettersson. That means, technically, Quinn Hughes is available, but Friedman mentioned that it would take a massive haul in order for the Canucks to consider doing so.
"They have indicated that they have one untouchable and that is Pettersson. Now, I know what everybody is going start to say, 'what does that mean about Quinn Hughes?'. What I was told is that the Canucks have said it would take an absolutely mammoth offer. This is not something they're looking to do. It would take a mammoth offer for them to part ways with the tremendous young defenceman." Friedman said.

Pettersson, 24, has had a strong season thus far, putting up 34 points in 29 games, while Quinn Hughes has also enjoyed a successful campaign to date, recording 25 assists in 25 games.
Despite the unlikelihood of him being moved, do you think the Canucks are wrong for not having Quinn Hughes as an untouchable? Let us know in the poll below!
