According to a recent Twitter post from Michigan State forward Jagger Joshua, he was the recipient of multiple racial slurs during the Spartans' game against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Friday, November 11. Per Joshua's post, one player was the source of the prejudicial remarks, and he received a game misconduct.

Joshua also noted that no further action was taken by Ohio State nor the Big Ten Conference. The player in question - not named by Joshua - is Kamil Sadlocha. Sadlocha, per the game's box score, was the only player to receive a game misconduct during the set of back-to-back games. Ipso facto, using powers of deduction we can ascertain who the guilty party was.

Joshua is the younger brother of Vancouver Canucks forward Dakota Joshua, who is an alumnus of Ohio State Men's Hockey. Interesting connection.

It goes without saying that muttering and doing racist things is bush league, and a game misconduct is hardly commensurate to the inherent character flaw associated. Perhaps Joshua's plea will reach those in charge of such proceedings.
