The Arizona Coyotes are in Nashville on Monday for a clash with the Predators and they'll be doing so with their top defenceman, Jakob Chychrun.

Coyotes head coach Andre Tourigny told reporters on Monday that Chychrun is fully healthy and ready to make his season debut, being paired with Shayne Gostisbehere.

Chychrun, 24, hasn't played since March 12th of last season due to two injuries. He suffered an ankle injury and then in the summer had surgery on his wrist. The Boca Raton native had a setback in his recovery in late-October and was deemed week-to-week.

While it's a big boost for the Coyotes, who sit dead-last in the Pacific Division, it begs the question, how much longer will Chychrun be wearing Arizona colours?

Given that the Chychrun has been wanting a move since early in the 2021-22 season, it seems likely that he will be traded leading up to March 3rd's deadline. He reiterated his desire to be dealt during training camp, saying he wants to traded to a playoff contender.

The reported asking price for Chychrun is two first-round picks, among other assets. It's a huge ask and as the weeks and months drag on, if he's not traded, the price could come down a bit, if the Coyotes become desperate.

In 47 games last season, Chychrun had 21 points (seven goals, 14 assists), 47 penalty minutes and was a minus-20.

Where do you think the 24-year-old will end up by the trade deadline in early-March? Let us know in the poll below!
