Tyson Jost made some interesting statements Monday while talking about suiting up for the first time for the Buffalo Sabres. Jost was picked up from the waiver wire by the Sabres after being placed there by the Minnesota Wild on November 19th. Jost's time in Minnesota has been short, and disappointing for both sides. While addressing that Monday, Jost made a comment on the state of his former team that is certainly interesting.

Jost did not elaborate on that statement. He did admit it was tough to be dealt from the Colorado Avalanche to the Wild at last season's trade deadline, while his former teammates went on to win the Stanley Cup.
"To watch them go on and win it, it's definitely tough. You kind of think 'I could have been there'," said Jost, a former 10th overall pick of the Avalanche.
All in all, he's happy for the fresh start in Buffalo, regardless of what's happened with Minnesota and Colorado.
"There's a great young core here and a lot of great up and coming talent. Watching these guys play it's fun to watch. Their team is exciting. And they've got a really good thing going on here." said Jost.
"So, I'm excited to be part of this group."
