Retired NHL goaltender-turned-analyst and stand-up comedian Scott Darling had some choice words for the city of St. Louis during his recent appearance on Blackhawks Talk. Darling called St. Louis the worst city in the United States, adding that it was the first city he listed on his no-trade clause in his playing days.

Kelly Chase, who played eight seasons for the Blues and lives in St. Louis in his post-playing days, responded appropriately. Making for an absolutely hilarious exchange.
Darling: "It's the worst city in the country, worst place to play, and was the first team on my no-trade clause agreement," he said of St. Louis.

Obviously, this was never going to go unanswered. Someone of note was bound to clap back, and Kelly Chase - being the outspoken fella he is - did just that and absolutely torched Darling in response.
Chase responded: Hey buddy. I'm not sure what I'm more surprised at. Your comment or the fact that somebody gave you a no trade list. You didn't need to put us on it ,we've got a good enough scouting staff there was no chance of you being here anyway.
