According to TSN's Chris Johnston, the Seattle Kraken have claimed goaltender Magnus Hellberg off waivers from the Ottawa Senators.

The Uppsala (Sweden) native was claimed off waivers by Ottawa from Seattle just before the start of the 2022-23 season, due to Cam Talbot being injured. In one game this season, the 31-year-old has one win, a 2.00 GAA and a .935 save percentage.
After spending the last five seasons in the KHL, other than one appearance for Detroit last year, Hellberg signed a one-year contract with Seattle during the summer.
In other waivers related news, Nikita Zaitsev (Ottawa) and Mike Reilly (Boston) both cleared and will be assigned to their respective American Hockey League teams.
Meanwhile, the Vegas Golden Knights have placed goaltender Laurent Brossoit on the wire. In two games for Vegas' AHL affiliate in Henderson, Brossoit has an 0-2-0 record with a 6.76 GAA and a .769 save percentage.
