Over the past week, the Arizona Coyotes franchise as well as their temporary home, the Mullett Arena, have taken plenty of shots. By no means does the building live up to NHL standards, as it seats only 5,000 people and doesn't have very many luxury suites.

Due in large part to the size, there have reportedly been many players, both on the Coyotes as well as opposing teams, who have been very displeased with Mullett Arena. That doesn't include Florida Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk, however, who is set to play there this evening.

"Looking at all the past college hockey rinks I've been to, it's always so much more fun," Tkachuk said. "There will be a lot more life than out in Glendale. That was my first reaction. I'm way happier with the game here than there."

This is a great quote from Tkachuk, and one that many should consider when it comes to the Coyotes current situation. Sure, it is far from what is expected out of an NHL facility, but games at Gila River in Glendale had little to no atmosphere. That won't be the case moving forward, as sellouts are likely to happen on a nightly basis at Mullett Arena, and the young, energetic crowd will have the building rocking. While the Coyotes may have a tough time racking up wins this season, they will undoubtedly have a livelier home crowd than years past.
