Arber Xhekaj Jumps Austin Watson After Huge Hit on Kirby Dach (VIDEO)
Arber Xhekaj went from an undrafted free agent to quietly signing a contract with Montreal, and now he is making an exclamatory statement in the Montreal Canadiens' camp with his relentless physical play.
He has thrown big hits, fought several times, and contributed on the scoresheet a couple times too. Tonight, he rushed to stand up for teammate Kirby Dach when the youngster took a heavy hit from Ottawa forward Austin Watson.
If he keeps these antics up, Xhekaj will own a permanent spot on Montreal's blue line before long. To me, Xhekaj feels like the type of guy who once he gets an NHL spot, he is never going to give it up.
