It is a bad summer to be a Nazem Kadri hater. So far, Nazem Kadri has overcome a brutal thumb fracture, scored an overtime winner in the Stanley Cup Final, won the Stanley Cup, had a parade in London, and now he is making an insane donation to the London Health Sciences Center. Those trying to make the case for what a bad guy Nazem Kadri is are running out of ammo, as Kadri continues to secure W after W.

Kadri is pledging $1 million (!) to the Ambulatory Surgical Center at the LHSC, which will be named the Nazem Kadri Surgical Centre. Kadri hails from London and spent two seasons playing for the Knights in the OHL before turning pro.

The now-Calgary Flame has shown a fierce commitment to his community, offering his time, money and energy into giving back. Recently, he made history bringing the Cup to a London Mosque, the first such appearance in Cup history.

In light of his past indiscretions, Kadri is showing his true colors. It is often said that in times of great hardship we see people for who they truly are. However, how one acts when they are 'on top' is equally revealing of their character, and Kadri has handled this summer with the utmost class. Which is bad news for his haters.
