The St. Louis Blues announced on Wednesday that they've signed pending unrestricted free agent defenceman Calle Rosen to a two-year, two-way contract. According to CapFriendly, Rosen's contract will see him earn $1.525 million ($762,500 AAV).

Rosen, 28, was placed on waivers last weekend in order to assign him to the Springfield Thunderbirds (AHL) for their Eastern Conference Final series against the Laval Rocket.

The Vaxjo (Sweden) native split time this season between the American Hockey League and the big club in St. Louis. In eighteen games with the Blues, Rosen put up seven points (two goals, five assists), four penalty minutes and was a minus-two. He also appeared in nine playoff games, but didn't record any points. In 40 games for Springfield, Rosen had 28 points (four goals, 24 assists).
