According to PuckPedia, the Anaheim Ducks have agreed to terms on a two-year, entry-level contract worth $1.85 million ($925,000 AAV) with 2022 Olympic bronze medalist, Pavol Regenda.

Regenda, 22, spent the 2021-22 season in the Slovak Extraliga with Michalovce Dukla HC. In 43 regular season games, Regenda put up 39 points (15 goals, 24 assists), 55 penalty minutes and was a plus-seventeen. He went on to add six points in six playoff games.

The Michalovce native represented Slovakia on the international stage twice in 2022. At the 2022 Winter Olympics in China, he put up four points in seven games as Slovakia won their first-ever Olympic medal.

Regenda also went on to play at the 2022 IIHF World Hockey Championship where he had six points in eight games, but Slovakia bowed out of the tournament in the Quarter-Final following a loss to the eventual gold medalists, Finland.
