The Montreal Canadiens had a familiar face at practice this morning. For the first time this season, veteran goaltender Carey Price skated at practice with the team.

Following Saturday's practice, the Canadiens tweeted that Price has begun a new stage of his rehab, but it's still unclear when he will return to game action.

"Carey Price: Back at practice with his teammates. He's progressing and has begun a new stage of his rehab. No timeline for his return."

Price, 34, has yet to play this season due to a couple of factors. Last summer, Price underwent knee surgery and it's been a long recovery, one that's seen a couple of setbacks. Price also entered the NHL/NHLPA Player Assistance Program for a month back in October.

The Anahim Lake (British Columbia) native has been skating on his own for the last couple of weeks for upwards of 40-45 minutes per session. If he continues his rehab at this rate, it's likely that he will be back between the pipes for the Canadiens at some point in April.
