The Toronto Maple Leafs posted a teaser video on their social media accounts on Friday afternoon that shows images of a new uniform with a the caption saying, "03.23.22. Catch you on the flipside."

This new uniform will be worn on Wednesday against the New Jersey Devils when the Maple Leafs hold their annual "Next-Gen Game".

Chris Creamer of Sportslogos.net broke down this teaser trailer, and made several notes on what the jersey features and may look like overall.

Firstly, it has "a dark blue leaf with three-dimensional embroidery for the white veins of the leaf and the team lettering." Creamer said.

What remains unclear is if the jersey will be navy or black. On the sleeve of the jersey in the video, it shows a black sleeve with black numbering, and a white outline on the numbers. The same still shot of the sleeve also shows a royal blue stripe and a navy blue stripe. The captain's 'C' on the front of the jersey appears to be white.

If the features of this jersey sound familiar, it's likely because the jersey got leaked a couple weeks ago by Martha Stewart. Yes, that Martha Stewart. She posted a picture on her Instagram account with Canadian singer Justin Bieber, who was wearing this new, un-released jersey.

When the Maple Leafs take to the ice on Wednesday night in this new alternate jersey, it will be the fifth different uniform they've worn this season, and fifth in as many games.

Last Sunday, they wore throwback Toronto Arenas uniform for the 2022 Heritage Classic. On Tuesday against Dallas they wore their usual home jersey, Thursday night they wore their throwback St. Pats jersey, and on Saturday night they'll wear their normal away jersey in Nashville.
