Tom Wilson has become one of the guys that people either love or hate, and he was recently interviewed by ESPN's Emily Kaplan.
During the interview Kaplan asked the question of whether or not Wilson was a dirty player, and he had a thoughtful response.
«I mean I don't know, I think that's obviously perspective to the individual,» Wilson explained.
Many people would disagree with this, as he is widely regarded as one of the dirtiest players in the league.
Wilson also stated that he wants to lead by example and chip in by contributing on both sides of the ice, while still playing his physical game. The 27-year-old also admitted to being a bit of a softie off the ice, which is somewhat surprising considering how he plays.
The Toronto native has 34 points (15 goals, 19 assists) in 48 games this season on a Washington Capitals team that is primed for another deep playoff run.
