If nothing else, forward Adam Brooks should feel wanted. For the fourth time this season, the 25-year-old has been claimed off waivers. He is now headed to the Winnipeg Jets.

"Winnipeg claims Adam Brooks off waivers from Toronto. That's the fourth time Brooks has been claimed this season." - Chris Jonston, TSN

Brooks was claimed off waivers by the Montreal Canadiens from the Toronto Maple Leafs on the opening day of the 2021-22 season. In mid-November, he was placed on waivers by the Habs, and then picked up by the Vegas Golden Knights. Just this week, the Knights put him back up for grabs. He was picked up again by Toronto. He was subsequently placed on waivers Thursday and picked up by Winnipeg.

Meanwhile, three other players were placed on waivers Friday. Gemel Smith of the Detroit Red Wings, Victor Rask of the Minnesota Wild, and Connor Bunnaman of the Philadelphia Flyers will all be sent to their respective AHL teams on Saturday if no one picks them up.
