The Ottawa Senators have been without the services of forward Connor Brown since mid-January after he was hit by a puck in the face when Thomas Chabot's shot bounced off the crossbar in warmups.

Despite the injury, Brown would go on to play in the game that night, adding two points in a 4-1 win over the Calgary Flames. After being evaluated the next day, he was listed as week-to-week with a broken jaw.

Brown will return to Ottawa's lineup on Monday night when they host the New Jersey Devils and on Sunday he told reporters what Chabot got him for breaking his jaw.

"Connor Brown says Thomas Chabot bought him a Louis Vitton backpack as a gift to say sorry for hitting him in the face with a puck in the pregame warmup in Calgary that caused him to have a broken jaw," Ian Mendes of The Athletic said.

That was a really nice gesture from Chabot. Brown has become a very valuable asset to the Senators and they have missed him a lot since he suffered that broken jaw. Since his last game on January 13th, Ottawa has gone 3-4-2.
