The Minnesota Wild announced on Monday that they've agreed to terms on a three-year contract extension with forward Jordan Greenway. Greenway's extension will see him earn $9 million ($3 million average annual value).

Greenway, 24, was set to become a restricted free agent with arbitration rights following the 2021-22 season.

The Canton, New York native was selected by the Wild in second round of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. In 2018, Greenway became the first player to appear in the Winter Olympics, NCAA Hockey Tournament and the Stanley Cup Playoffs in the same year.

In 33 games this season, Greenway has thirteen points (four goals, nine assists), twenty-eight penalty minutes and is a plus-seventeen.

Greenway and the Wild will be back in action on Wednesday night when they travel to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks.
