It's been a long time since Carey Price of the Montreal Canadiens made himself available to the media for questions. That will change Sunday as Price is set to meet with reporters via Zoom in the evening just before his team's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

According to Eric Engels, new Habs GM Kent Hughes made himself available to accompany Price on the call, but it looks like Price was ok with doing it alone.

After being a major factor in getting the Canadiens to the Stanley Cup final in 2020-21, Price has not played at all this season after undergoing surgery over the summer on his knee. He also entered the NHL's Player Assistance program in October and stated later that the use of substances was a factor in that decision.

Price hit the ice with his goaltending coach on Saturday for the first time since mid-December. The big questions remaining are will he play this season, and does he want to stick with Montreal through what appears to be yet another rebuild.
