It didn't take long for Jonathan Drouin's agent to jump to his defense after a video circulated on the internet of Drouin and Montreal Canadiens coach Dominique Ducharme having what could be interpreted as a heated discussion. The video was shared earlier Wednesday by RDS reporter Patrick Friolet. Check it out:

The two were by no means screaming at each other, but Drouin did seem somewhat agitated. That said, his agent Allan Walsh clearly didn't like the tweet.

"You obviously know nothing about hockey," said Walsh in a response. "This is a normal conversation between a player and coach, a discussion that takes place between players and coaches every practice. Just a pathetic attempt at stirring the pot. You're a disgrace."

Friolet responded to Walsh and insisted he was simply describing what he saw.

"In no way was this my intention. Not at all," said Friolet. "I explained the context and will make sure to mention it is about the passion Jonathan shows for the game. The coach explained it and I will do the same."

Whether right or wrong, it is interesting to see Walsh accuse someone of pot-stirring. Walsh is arguably the best-known agent in the hockey world and mostly because he loves to stir the pot himself. He's spoken out publicly on actions against his clients several times (remember the sword in the back picture of Marc-Andre Fleury?) and has also called out the league and, specifically, Gary Bettman several times over various issues. Another reporter did come to Friolet's defence.
