The Minnesota Wild continue to be active on Tuesday. Earlier today, they announced that they've called up top prospects Matthew Boldy and Marco Rossi.

Now this afternoon, they've placed forward Victor Rask and goaltender Zane McIntyre on waivers according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman. The Wild just announced the signing of McIntyre to a one-year, two-way contract this afternoon and Elliotte Friedman added that he has to clear waivers before officially becoming a 'Wild'.

Rask, 28, is in the final year of a six-year contract he signed back in 2016 as a member of the Carolina Hurricanes. He currently earns $4 million AAV and is set to become an unrestricted free agent in July. In 21 games this season, the Leksand, Sweden native has ten points (four goals, six assists), two penalty minutes and is a plus-six.

McIntyre, 29, was signed to a tryout contract with the Tucson Roadrunners (AHL) back in early November. In three games with Tucson, McIntyre had a 2-1-0 record with a 2.73 G.A.A. and a .904 save percentage.
