It was a monumental night for Chicago Blackhawks netminder Marc-Andre Fleury on Thursday, when he secured a 2-0 win over the Montreal Canadiens and the 500th win of his NHL career.

This win puts Fleury among the most elite NHL goaltenders, as only Patrick Roy (551) and Martin Brodeur (691) have posted more NHL wins than the Sorel, PQ native. Fleury is also the fastest goaltender in NHL history to reach 500 career wins, doing so in just 901 games.

Following Flower's 500th win, he made his way back to the locker room, which was quiet as he approached. It did not remain that way for long, as his Blackhawks teammates erupted with cheers, showering him with their drinks in celebration of his epic accomplishment. You can watch the video below.

Fleury is truly one of the all-time greats, having won three Stanley Cup Championships with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2009, 2016 and 2017. The 18-year NHL veteran is also renowned for being one of the most humble and down to earth players in the league.

Congrats to Fleury and his family on the 500th win of his legendary career. He has future Hall of Famer written all over him.
