The good news is it seems Barclay Goodrow of the New York Rangers has avoided a serious injury after a scary incident during a game against the Philadelphia Flyers Wednesday night. Goodrow took a puck to the face that appeared to catch him in the eye area and shattered part of his helmet/visor. He would leave the game immediately with his hand over his eye.

Rangers coach Gerard Gallant following the game said Goodrow received a cut above the eye but it looked like he would be fine. A very lucky outcome after a situation that could have been much worse.
