The Vegas Golden Knights are managing to win games right now even without some major fire power. Names like Max Pacioretty, Mark Stone, William Karlsson and others are on the injured reserve list, yet Vegas managed to pull off its second win a row last night, 3-2 over the Minnesota Wild, and it's fourth win in its last five games.

Vegas head coach Peter DeBoer was asked how he's managing to get wins without some key offensive names. He answered by taking a bit of a dig at his former team.

"I coached the New Jersey Devils for four years," said DeBoer.

DeBoer had an interesting career path during his time with the Devils. After getting the team all the way to the Stanley Cup Final in 2011-12 before losing to the LA Kings, he then missed the playoffs the next two years in a row before eventually being fired 36 games into his fourth year with the team.

Besides Vegas, New Jersey, DeBoer has also coached the Florida Panthers and San jose Sharks. He got the Sharks to the SCF in 2015-16, losing to Pittsburgh.
