Some interesting things have been happening in the hockey world on Saturday, and it seems that some big moves could be imminent.

According to John Hoven, also known as "The Mayor", Jakob Silfverberg was removed from the Ducks roster. Although this is a huge move, it does not directly indicate that a trade for Eichel is happening. Not directly at least. This is important in order to make the money work in a theoretical deal with the Sabres, and Anaheim has continued to show interest in Eichel.

The interesting part about this development is that TSN insider Darren Dreger also reported that trade talks were heating up on Saturday after they had started cooling down towards the end of the work week. Whether or not Anaheim is the big trade partner is yet to be determined, but this definitely helps their case.

Many other teams have shown interest in Eichel including the Vegas Golden Knights, New York Rangers, and Minnesota Wild. It seems that the saga is nearing its conclusion.
