The Houston Texans fell to the defending Champs on Saturday, and it only got worse as star receiver Tank Dell suffered a brutal injury.

Locked in a tight battle with the Kansas City Chiefs, Houston Texans QB CJ Stroud threw a bomb downfield to Tank Dell, catching the Touchdown to tie the game up at 17-17.

Unfortunately on closer inspection, video of the play showed Dell suffering a brutal injury on the play, and after suffering a season ending injury a season ago, it could be another heartbreaking injury for the young star.

When slowed down, you can see that Dell's leg is bent in ways that it shouldn't be, with the 25-year old wide receiver then being carted off the field and rushed to hospital during the game.

Unsurprisingly, this was heartbreaking for anyone involved, especially knowing what Dell went through a season ago, with Stroud letting out his emotions on the sidelines as Dell was carted off the field.

It's unconfirmed yet that Dell will miss the remainder of the season, but with less than five weeks to go, it's safe to say that the talented receiver will be done for the year, with Stroud losing one of his best friends and his best weapons.

In 2024, Dell has tallied 45 catches for 569 yards and 2 Touchdowns on the year, and while he hasn't been the most productive player on the team, he's certainly made a huge impact for a talented team.

The Texans will look to push on without Dell and make a run for the Super Bowl, but for now it's safe to say that this one combined with the loss to Kansas City will hurt, with the team needing to find a way to win big games like this moving forward.
