Charlie Lindgren among 12 placed on waivers; Canucks lose Gadjovich; player released from PTO

On Thursday, twelve players were placed on waivers including St. Louis Blues goaltender Charlie Lindgren and former Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Calle Rosen.

The full list of players, according to TSN's Chris Johnston is: Troy Grosenick (BOS), Brian Lashoff (DET), Ryan Murphy (DET), Andrew Hammond (MIN), Kyle Rau (MIN), A.J. Greer (NJ), Louis Domingue (PIT), Sam Anas (STL), Charlie Lindgren (STL), Calle Rosen (STL), Steven Santini (STL) and Nathan Walker (STL).

One player from Wednesday's waivers batch was claimed. According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the San Jose Sharks have claimed Vancouver Canucks forward Jonah Gadjovich.

The Whitby, Ontario native was a second round pick of the Vancouver Canucks in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He's played in one career game in the NHL, recording no points, 17 penalty minutes, and was a -1.

Meanwhile, the St. Louis Blues have released Michael Frolik from his professional tryout without signing him to a contract. As a free agent, he is free to sign with any team that will take him. The Blues still have James Neal at camp on a PTO.
