We all have that friend that shows up to the party and does something questionable or stupid at the time - but ultimately memorable and hilarious later on. For the Vegas Golden Knights, apparently that friend is goaltender Robin Lehner.

So first off - to preface this - it's a very odd situation to say the least. Secondly, I don't recommend doing this, as it can obviously be quite dangerous.

According to Golden Knights captain Mark Stone, who revealed this story to The Athletic's Jesse Granger on Friday, Lehner, while at a party at Stones house, began to dig up snakes around the property for an undisclosed reason - although I can assume adult beverages were a factor.

"Next thing I knew, I go into my backyard and there are 5 snakes in my pool," said Stone.

Lehner took to Twitter a short time later to ensure that it is on the record that former teammate Ryan Reaves is afraid of snakes - so naturally, Lehner tried to grab one for him.

The captain was unclear as to what types of snakes they were, but given the fact that Stone's home is in Las Vegas, Nevada, I would imagine that the snakes were likely venomous.

Stone made no mention of how they got the snakes out of the pool or if they even attempted to do so. My guess is that they likely just moved the party indoors 😆.

If you follow Robin Lehner on Twitter, you'll know that he is certainly a bit of a wild card, but this takes it to a whole new level.

Note to self - if you ever have the chance to party with Robin Lehner, stay out of the pool.
