Quinn Hughes recently went down with an injury, but despite rumours, he'll still appear at the upcoming Four Nations Face-Off for Team USA.

The Vancouver Canucks are still on the outside looking in at a Stanley Cup Playoffs spot in 2025, and after trading J.T. Miller, they've hit another speed bump as Quinn Hughes has been dealing with an injury issue.

Now, question marks have emerged over Hughes' availability for the upcoming Four Nations Face-Off tournament, where he was chosen to represent Team USA for one of the biggest international tournaments in recent times.

However, his agent has now appeared on the Donnie and Dhali Show, and has shut down those rumours, hinting that the Canucks captain is just dealing with bumps and bruises but wants to represent Team USA.

«No, I don't see that; I think he wants to go. I think it's just bumps and bruises; it's nothing serious, and he wants to be ready and wants to play at that level. It's important to him; it's important to the game. I think it's going to affect the team at all.

In the latest update on Hughes, Head Coach Rick Tocchet has stated they aren't worried about his long-term health, with the captain pushing to play in the team's next game after sitting out their last matchup despite taking warmups.

«He wanted to gut it out, but not the smartest play to play him. You know him, he wants to play every game, that guy. In 48 hours, we'll see how he is.»

Plenty of Canucks fans have voiced their opinion that Hughes shouldn't play on the Four Nations team, instead saving himself for what will be a major Stanley Cup Playoffs push this season, but knowing what a competitor he is and how much he wants to represent the United States, expect to see him in the lineup.
