Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is at the center of a new controversy for an unbelievable reason.

The Kansas City Chiefs remain a juggernaut in the NFL. After a 15-2 regular season, they have secured a spot in the second round of the playoffs, earning the week one bye.

They will host the Houston Texans, who defeated the Chargers 32-12 in last week's wild-card game.

The Texans won the AFC South this year but they only had a 10-7 record as it was one of the worst divisions in the league.

As such, they remain major underdogs as the Chiefs look to win their fourth Super Bowl in six years.

Ahead of the game this weekend, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is under fire for supposedly changing his Instagram profile picture to one of him wearing his three Super Bowl rings.

This was seen as taunting by some fans. However, as many have pointed out, Mahomes actually did not change his profile picture.

In fact, he changed the picture months ago when no one was really paying attention.

If anything, Mahomes remains as humble as ever. In his latest media appearance, he talked about taking the upcoming game seriously even if everyone expects it to be an easy win for the defending champions.

"This is the playoffs now. This is where you want to be at. And you're going up against a great football team and it's going to take your best effort to win it."

The Chiefs and Texans will face off this Saturday in Kansas City at 4:30PM EST. Be sure to tune in to see which team will advance to the AFC Championship game.
